With our spell at Brantford at and end, it was time to go to Toronto Airport and catch the 5-hour flight to Vancouver.
The great thing about flying west is that while this flight might take 5 hours, it only lasts 2 hours on the clock as Vancouver is 3 hours' clock time behind Ontario Province.
However, it does once again disorientate one's body clock as we are now 8 hours behind UK time and it means that by the time we get going on a day, then the UK is coning to the end of another working day.
Our flight took us over some of the Great Lakes of North America and also over the Canadian Rockies which made the flight more exciting. It's hard to take in the scale of either of them as we're used to things on a European scale and this is not Europe!
