And then it was down to the falls ....

Once we had caught our breath after those first few minutes in our rooms, the only next step could be to get down there and see the falls up, close and personal.




If you think we were sitting at the water's edge, you'd be right.  I could bore you with endless stats about this natural wonder of the world, but you may be better off reading what good old Wikipedia has to say about them here - Niagara Falls


It's hard to take in the sheer scale of this place and it's easy to think that they switch it off at night to save water!  Well they do, almost, as they like to use as much flow as they can to generate electricity.
