Yes, we had finally arrived at the falls. Mike parked up in the Casino multi-storey and, with a constant background of the sound of a lot of water falling from a great height, we made our way to the Embassy Suites where Mike negotiated rooms for us that we better than we had originally been allocated.
And the view that greeted us from the picture window in our bedroom was one of those images that stays with you for life.
