Glacier Bay

After Skagway it was time to move on to Glacier Bay for a full day of cruising through this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

This is one of two things we particularly wanted to see on this cruise, the other being the Hubbard Glacier.

At 7am two park rangers climbed aboard.  Their job was twofold: to make sure the ship behaved itself in this eco-sensitive place and also to educate those on board by looking out for wildlife for and also by educating us all more generally.
