So on we went, inching ever close to the falls ....

Our next stops were at Niagara Park, at the Whirlpool Aerocar attraction and at the Maple Leaf shopping centre where Marion had a sticky encounter with a moose!


There have already been so many examples in Canada of kind people spontaneously offering to take photos of all of us so it is nice to be able to share them with you on the blog.


Lots of cheap electricity is produced around these parts, courtesy of the Niagara escarpment and of the falls.




Perhaps surprisingly, this attraction is over 100 years old. It's situated on a sharp bend in the Niagara River which creates a huge whirlpool. Once again, the bank on the other side of the river is US territory.









After this photo was taken, Marion realised that she had a sticky substance on her hand. We didn't really know what to say ....
