On we went to the lake shore and Fort George

After the town, we moved on down to the lake shore.  These lakes are on a scale such that you feel you're at the seaside as there is usually nothing to see on the horizon but water.




Toronto in the far distance ....




The shore opposite is US territory as the border runs long the middle of the river. Nice to see that the Canada geese are in Canadian waters!
